Can You Recognize Divine Persistence?

Sometimes I keep trying for an outcome that I have deemed important to me, and no matter what I do, I cannot make it happen. It feels as though I am making my way down a path which seems to be open to me, and suddenly I come upon a brick wall. It is as if I am being told, "No, don't go any farther, don't go the way you have been heading, and just stop." Has the Divine abandoned me on my path?

No matter how hard I try, that brick wall won't move, and eventually, sometimes after much head banging on that wall, I have to give up, or just leave with a feeling of defeat. Where is that spiritual guidance I have come to rely on?

There are other times when Divine persistence can open the doors so unexpectedly and usher me through as if I am on a red carpet with an engraved invitation in hand. God can be persistent in getting me to move from point A to point Z with very little or no effort or thought on my part.

And when I really mess up, I often get a second chance, or third chance, or more. Why does God do that?

The Divine keeps being my partner, companion, guide, friend as I navigate this amazing world.

If you have found yourself in a similar place in your life, how can you be more aware of that Divinely supported direction? How can you open yourself to being sensitive to a spiritual persistence and flow with the Divine energy?
